I'll admit, this is the one thing I actually enjoy about living out in the middle of nowhere I'm such a pyromaniac, and when I was growing up my dad would always build a big bonfire of all the dead limbs and such that were cut down or got knocked down by bad weather... Well we had a lot of limbs, from both (a whole tree fell just a few weeks ago in a storm, and today we had a whole bunch of limbs cut out of a really big tree) So we had more than enough wood for multiple fires.

If anyone reads the Sunday comics, my dad is a total Crankshaft when it comes to bonfires.. This was taken after it had started to die down a little (granted, my dad and brother kept feeding green limbs onto the fire to make the awesome embers fly up, thanks much guys!! ) But I was still standing a good 15 feet away from the fire in this shot I got so dirty tonight too, mostly because I was setting up for this shot and my dad started putting the green leaves on the fire, which made me practically yell at my mom to stand still so I could get some shots of her silhouetted by the flying embers, and then I couldn't stop, I kept playing with different settings, all the while literally rolling around in the dirt Luckily I got several good shots out of the whole ordeal, I'll get to those whenever I get around to working on my growing list of photos to edit hehe...
